  3 meetings per week NOT FIVE!!!

  am i the only person ever to fall under the influence of the borg who can count?.

  no offence all but jws meet three times per week.not five!

  i consider the familiar statement about 5 meetings per week to be a good indication of just how indoctrinated a person is.

  McVeigh vs Death Penalty

  i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.

  i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.

  and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.

  timothy mcveigh is already dead and gone but my opinion still stands strong.

  if a child hits someone at school, would you teach that child that violence is wrong by beating him so he know how it feels?

  most people would prolly say no. so why is it ok to punish murder by killing the killer?? also, i think the death penalty is an "easy way out" for killers. why let them leave this world when they should rot in jail for the rest of their lives. i think being locked away my whole life would be far harsher than dying. maybe this is beacuse i do not fear death. maybe it is because i am closterphobic. regardless, i honestly believe a life sentence in a small barred cage is far worse than being painlessly killed!

  p.s. i must admit that at one point in my life i thought all killers should be killed the exact same way their victims were murdered.

  What's the big deal?

  i am just going to play devil's advocate here for a second since i need help reasoning something out again.

  i think i have the answer, but i just need to do this outloud and hear some responses to make sure i am clear on this particular issue.. i remember once, when i first came across a lengthy write-up on the faulty reasoning the wts used to come up with the whole 1914 thing, i was having dinner with an older bro who, at the time, was a very close friend of mine.

  i asked him directly just how valid the date was and if what i was reading on the internet had any credibility.

  but mm, don't you think if they admit to being wrong on this subject their "religion" will crumble because they will be forever pressured to answer to all the other inconsistensies?? maybe the dat 1914 is connected to other shit that they will have to say was an "innocent" mistake.
